    Description

    WW2 Waltham CDIA Aircraft Cockpit Clock made by the Waltham Watch Co. for the US Navy's Carrier based Aircraft such as the F4 Hellcat Fighter. Dial measures 2-7/8" in diameter, and is marked "BU AERO U.S. NAVY WALTHAM.  The case is made of Bakelite, and has the Navy acceptance stamp on the rear. The high precision movement is an 8 day, 15 jewel mechanical type with a date function. Clock has been professionally serviced (disassembled, cleaned and lubricated), and is keeping accurate time. The speed may need some minor adjusting after shipment. The clock is in excellent physical condition, and it would be difficult to find one in better condition.
